If you want to give him a tip as a X Mas present then it would depend. You would have to take into account how long he has been your paper carrier, is he nice, and stuf like that. If he has been your carrier for a year or more, and is nice, then i think around 25$ would be nice. Or dont give him money, give him a present. Or a gift card to Tim Hortons (here in canada Tim Hortons is a coffee shop).

I guess that depends on you and how the paper carrier is all year. His age, alot of things. what you pay each week. I tyink $10. would be a nice gift, or a gift card to a fast food rest.

My son got paid 14 cents for every paper he delivered. He made about $2.80 a week (weekly paper). He had to insert the TV guide and then roll and package the paper into the plastic sleeve before he delivered them.
There was no "usual" amount people tipped and most people didn't give anything so anything you give will be appreciated.

I moved this year and had paid in advance for one year. She had gotten no payment from me and puts my paper on the ledge by my garage every day. Sent her a $20 gift card.

If he was efficient throughout the year, I'd give him $25.00 for Christmas.
