Wonderful, Wonderful! I am a Grandmother, seven times over, and I would have to say that is the best idea I have heard! I believe it is important for Children to believe because it builds a great imagination. They become more tender with their own children and so on and so on. I must congratulate you on your ingenious idea. ((APPLAUSE)) Don't let anyone tell you any differently, children who believe in Santa have a great imagination and a wonderful heart and spirit. I believe, and I have seen it many time, that those children who find out early about the lack of a Holiday Deity, seem a bit harsh. Life is difficult enough! Allow your child to be a child as long as you can with that wonderful joy they will soon loose as they age!
Good Luck Little One
Blessed Be

I am not doing Santa with my kids. They know there was a man years ago named St. Nick who liked to give toys to children but he's dead now and some parents still like to pretend. I put all the emphasis on Jesus and his birthday. My kids are just as excited as any other kids. I don't believe for a second that I'm ruining Christmas as some people have said before. I believe that when we turn it into something it's not and take the emphasis away from Jesus, that is what is truely ruining Christmas. (These are my beliefs and I don't mean to upset or offend anyone) Either way, it's wonderful to spend time with family and to bless people by giving. God Bless and Merry Christmas!!

My kids are too old to believe in Santa now, but it was the cutest thing when they were little. I miss those days sooo much. I remember the feeling of excitement I used to get when I was a kid and I thought Santa was bringing me toys. Christmas is never as much fun again after you find out he is not real.

I have some younger cousins that are around the age when they realize that Santa doesn't really exist. It was pretty entertaining when they would tell me about what they wanted to ask Santa for every Christmas.

Our friends were never taught to believe in Santa -- ever. Then again, they are Jewish.
They celebrate Xmas and Hanukkah.
