Fair enough, but when you answer and ask questions on here there is a 'Check Spelling' button at the top...is it really that tricky to click it?

I absolutely agree, it is very helpful if someone constructively brings a spelling mistake to my attention, otherwise I would go on making the same mistake and the ignorant people within our society would then laught at me.
Personally I would rather receive a letter full of spelling mistakes, than not receive a letter at all.
The spellcheck is very useful, but how would it correct the following -
"The bride walked down the AISLE to the ALTAR whilst they sang a HYMN" what was really meant was I'LL ALTER HIM!!
