Never signed up with treasure-trouper--from what I gather its a "sign up for offers" to get paid site--which I don't care for because you can get a lot of junk mail and/or pay more for the offers than you're making.
I've reviewed some of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or recieved other rewards like gift cards or CDS) on the following site, if you are interested:
http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys
I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc. (And yes, if I say they have an affiliate program, I'm part of it, and make a commission when someone signs up through that link...I like to be up front about that). I make about $20 a month just taking the surveys (not referring people). I spend about 3 hours a month actually taking the surveys plus about 5 minutes a day checking my e-mail for new surveys and taking "qualifying questions" (They will usually ask you a few general qations up-front to see if you are in the demographic they need before letting you take the paid survey. Some sites have you do profiles up-front which are longer surveys with common demographic questions so you don't have to answer these same questions over and over on each survey. These are also not usually paid.)
Watch out for survey scam sites though. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.
Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not agregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).
Also just recently came across a good survey ratings site that I've found very helpful:

1) it took me quite a while to find some good sites so it was a bit slow at first.
2)It is worth your time, if you know how to do it properly. At first you might not get much work.
3)I average about $10/15 for a bit of time every day. This month it brought about $250. I spend about the same time I used to spend on this site so yes it is worth my time and effort.
I get entered for sweepstakes automatically, seems little but better than getting worthless points and violation notice emails for speaking your mind. Basically, if you have a valid opinion on something you do get rewarded.
