Absolutely, the hippies of yesteryear have they're far left idea's firmly implanted by their rebellion of the 60's and 70's.
They just haven't realized that their time has passed.Some of what they accomplished was good for freedom. They just don't realize that if the far lefts ideas are carried through then we will choke on the very freedoms they think they deserve.

John Lennon paved the way for a wider acceptance of music that influences folks who see a better way to achieve peace and harmony for America. None of his words or music focused upon hatred, and it would seem you have a distorted viewpoint on this matter.

Why do you assume (and you know what that stands for) that liberals hate America? As for John Lennon he was about peace and love...and, there is nothing bad about that. You should thank your lucky stars that there are liberals in the U.S. -- can you imagine a world run by only conservatives!! Heaven help us.

But he was endeared by the poor little rich hippies.
And his followers didn't hate the USA near as much as the Liberals of today do.

Lennon just wanted peace, theres no comparison.He wasn't out burning flags or slandering our President or rooting for the other side to win like these asssholes today do..
