Try Avon's Skin So Soft. It has worked wonders on many things around our house. It won't hurt your glassed even if it doesn't work. It cuts grease from the stove and gets bugs and tar off of the car so it should be able to get glue off of glasses. Isn't it funny that women use it as a bath oil?

There is a product in some stores like k-mart or walmart that is called GOO GONE. It takes all sticky stuff off of everything.I work retail and we use it to remove stickers from shelving and windows. It very gentle but works great.
