As we know, there is no such thing as "the speed of darkness." In theory, I guess the most similar thing to the speed of darkness (as I will use the contrasting ideas of light and dark) are tachyons. Tachyons are in a sense the opposite of light. In theory, they travel faster and faster when more mass is added to the energy. Tachyons are also said to have a negaitve mass. But tachyons are really just "another" kind of light. I guess one that isn't found on the electromagnetic spectrum.
However, there is a type of energy called dark energy. Dark energy is kind of the hidden glue that keeps the universe held together. But even that is another sense of gravity. So, the speed of "darkness" would have to be precisly defined.
It's tricky business....but dark matter seems to be the closest thing.

The speed of darkness is the same as the speed of light. If you think of a light bulb being turned off, it makes the room dark just as fast as turning it on makes the room lit.
Theoretically, there is nothing faster than the speed of light. Of course, if you watch Star Trek, they traveled at increments of the speed of light (Warp 1, Warp 2, etc.)

The speed of light is the velocity of propagation of light waves (speed of the wavefront) or the velocity of photons (measured particle speed), depending on if you are studied wave or particle properties of light. Darkeness is the absence of ligtht, thus there is nothing to measure the velocity of.
As far as we _know_ there is nothing faster than light. However there is a phenomena called "quantum entanglement" that suggests that "quantum information" can travel "instantaneously", although this has not been conclusively verified.

If thee can be anythng smaller than the photon ( the sub -atomic) particles , it can go faster than light .speed of light is 186000/- miles per second .anyting bigger than this can travel only at a lesser speed only. Darkness being the abscence of light and being threfore nothing , it does not ravel . To travel anything should be some substance . Anything that is not a substnce can not trael .NOTHING - can not trabel . To tragel anything should be a thing . A NOTHING can not travel

Wait...speed of light is fast!!!!! As we know darkness is the absence of light so it goes as fast! but nothing is faster than speed of light since the speed of darknees is not actually a speed.

People say we only use 10 percent of our brains, but I say we only use 10 percent of our hearts...
But anyway, darkness is just absense of light. It's like measuring cold. You don't measure cold, you measure heat, and if there's not much heat you say it's cold. Get it?
quantum physicists believe that some particles travel faster than light. Mesons and Tachyons are a couple examples. But, when they do so they travel backward and forward through time, so faster than light speed kind of loses it's meaning.
Ok, now go take an advil for your headache. Sorry.
