Does anyone know how to do internet marketing for affiliate programs? I've recently joined Linkshare, but I don't have a website. I want to promote Linkshare merchant's websites
without a website of my own. Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Darryl

I have been doing affiliate marketing for a little over a year now. I have never marketed any merchant from linkshare.

I mainly market Clickbank products. I would highly recommend that you invest in this:

I saw a vast improvement in the amount of commissions I made after I implemented the strategies recommended in ClickbankAffiliateConfessions (CAC).

Although, it is geared towards Clickbank... I'm certain that you can use the recommendations just as well with Linkshare.

All the best...

yes,
Build a website,( since most affiliate progams require you to have a website)
Sign up with an affiliate program website like cj.com or linkshare
Choose the program you want to promote
Get affiliate links and embedd them into your pages.
Promote your site.

As you said you donot have a website, you can have a blog on blogger or somewhere else and choose that as your marketing platform.

Or you can do PPC for the affiliate program. This will involve money but if done in a calculated manner will produce results far better and sooner than other methods.

OK... the timming for credit cards absolutelly sucks! The issuers are pulling many profitable credit cards from many networks and the rate of folks being denied is way higher than usual... so even if you get people to click on your ad, request an application and fill it out correctly, you must trust 100% what the issuers tell you... Right now the good financial related products are credit protection and credit reporting. FlexOffers has lots of experience with credit card affiliate marketing but do not accept all applications once there is so much fraud around... Give it a try, but first make sure your website can qualify. Good luck

You can do it through email too.
Or on a myspace page or free blog.
Check out the Sales and Marketing Help website.
They have a lot of info on affiliate under the marketing terms page.
