A friend of mine once said, money is the most important thing in the world, I then took a 20 dollar bill and ripped it. He smirked and said that it doesn't matter than I'm an idealist, what matters is how people with money have a better quality of life, and that love does not provide security.

I pose the question easily because it doesn't make any logical sense. Money was created as a way to control the masses, by taxing them for their land, etc. Royal blood, rich blood, all that wonderful blah blah blah stuff. Yet, how empty that must feel to have money and yet not know how lonely and fragile our lives really are.

So, would you, choose money over love? Would you loose the one thing that could make the rest of your life perfect and trade it for the one thing that will make your life only about money?

I always choose Love before money. Money comes and goes, but Love is there always. Money is necessary, but not essential.

For me, quality of life doesn't depends on cool clothes or having a cool car, but on how are your relationships with your family, how many true friends you have and how many people will be with you when you are flat broke or sick. Money is just a document for trading. Love is for sharing everything.

A rich person is not who has the most things, but who needs the less things.

Well, I chose love over money. I married the guy I loved. We haven't had much money, but we have had a good life. So, perhaps I am the exception to your friend's rule.

Now, of course, there have been times when money was VERY important ... just try asking a doctor to accept his fee in love.

But, two grown-up kids, and four grand children later, I wouldn't change much.

I choose true love over money. My husband is my true love, and we are just poor students. That is ok to me, because at the end of the day, in his arms, I feel like the richest person in the world, and I couldnt ask more than that. Money wont stay with you in the next life, but love will be with you forever. All we take with us is our knowledge, our convictions, our relationships, our love. Love is good enough for me.

when given a choice most people will chose thing that they believe is the most difficult to obtain. most people believe it is easier to find true love than get a billion dollars. perhaps they are right, consider the shortage of billionaires as opposed to people who are married. personally I'd choose true love as long as I believed we would be able to make enough money to thrive.

Look today's world is not and emotional or love based world..........but a materialistic world.

People believe in material aspects and luxurious life is a better option for people than love.

People love to live life for them not for others .............this is in a sense right too as they have the right to live life for themselves..........but in this if u forget other people who are in your life or attached to you that is wrong.

A person can't live alone also but he/she can't live for others also.....this is strange isn't it?

I don't believe in love but believe in friendship.........relations..........and money should be a part of your life not your life itself.

The bible says that money is the root of all evil. Money can only allow you to enjoy this life but not the one to come.
