What I don't get is how anyone could start smoking in the first place. When you take that first puff it's not like oh yeah that tastes great.
My suggestion is to just remember that those of us that don't smoke (I used to) can smell it on you. You smell like an ash tray. Also think about how much it has shortened your life already.

I enrolled, some years ago, in a quit smoking program and classes. They were very effective. They highly recommended the patch and gum. Also, one thought I've kept with me is: The craving for a smoke will pass, whether you smoke or not. This is so true! I think our mind has to think about something else, and if you will notice, the craving will have passed. It is going to come back, of course, but try to think, this too shall pass. go to ur doctor & ask him for a script for CHANTIX, it works!!
I smoke for 42 years, 3 packs a day. Thought i could never lay them down. I been smoke free for 8 weeks now, i feel great. There's a web site you go on to when u start taking CHANTIX. I t helps you as your taking the medicine. Go for it, what do u have to lose!! GOOD LUCK

sunflower seeds helped me alot. and chewin on straws and after a week the cravings were gone
