Any person who can effectively lead this wonderful country should be president, whether black white asian latin; male or female; democrat, republican, libertarian or independent. America is ready for a strong, effective leader. To do what is best for this country and not support some left or right wing agenda or what the news media or UN thinks.

My opinion who we need to finish this war and bolster our country is Rudy G.

Reagan to me was our best president ever.

However the choice is yours, choose wisely.

I think America is getting ready to talke a closer look at who we elect and we might chose black, white or female, if we pay attention to qualifications, but a first question should be, are American political parties ready to give us a choice of black, white and female candidates or are they going to continue to offer us only choices that the party endorses in an effort to control such things as housing, the economy, and global warming, just to mention a few.

America has move past skin color being an issue that matters for most people, although there continue to be some for whom this is a show stopper. The Democrats don't have anybody currently who can win on the issues, way to liberal, but the Republicans are much better. Anybody know Connie Rice's position on almost anything?

Personally I would love to see a president who is not a white male. But that being said, a lot of this country is racist and sexist, whether they admit it or not. I hope to see diversity in the presidency in my lifetime but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen.

Also, as much as I would love a woman, black, or non-Christian president in office, I wouldn't vote for someone just because they fell into this category. I still would vote on whether or not I supported the person's political and social philosophies.

IF HE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD LET IT HAPPEN,back to reality it doesn't matter what color, we as American people are minorities, instead of being majorities because we DO NOT have enough people that is voting, our over all voting stat is is low. the people we put in office is dictated from thousands not millions there is a whole lot of different in the numbers don't you THINK . WE as the people need to stand up and cast our vote NO MORE OF WHAT WE HAVE, WE WANT MORE,no matter what color it will stay the same, all them opinion polls are a fraction of opinions of the USA and we fall in that trap of delusion. We need to focus on the voting stat is than what color or what side we are on we need to come together as ONE NATION NOT DIVIDED, SO STOP FALLING IN TO THAT COMFORT ZONE AND ROCK THE BOAT, OR GO AGAINST THE GRAIN WHAT EVER who cares about opinions unless we are one, not divided

Yes, we've now got a pool of qualified black politicians who can run for POTUS. This didn't exist 25 years ago.

There seems to be at least as many black GOP possibilities as there are black Dem potential candidates. Happily, that also means that there is no longer one "black" position on all issues.
