It's because the shaver is a personal posession. It's sacred and hallowed ground. You must not touch the shaver, it's mine and it's not for you.
There's just some things you don't touch and the shaver is one of them. They're bloody expensive and you girls tend to shave bits that aren't supposed to be shaved with my shaver.
If you were to stick sometyhing in the bathroom and say don't touch, men wouldn't go anywhere near it.

Its a question of hygiene, impetigo, 'barbers rash', 'barbers pox' call it what you like but the risks are there. Some things are not for sharing - toothbrushes and razors head the list.

Not a guy but they say it dulls the razor a lot quicker and they wind up cutting themselves...I would be sorta po'ed too!

I don't anymore. I'm divorced. It would wreck the blade, be left in the razor, rip my cheek when I went to use it.
