The pictures are accessed by Piasa2 but also stored in other files on your hard drive. You didn't say what was wrong with your computer, If your hard drive is still in working order than you can remove it and by various means, ie getting a USB external drive case - slip the hard drive in it and plug it into another computer's USB port and download everything you want. I bought a USB case for a laptop drive for thirty bucks and I use it now to store and back up large files like pictures ect.

Well, I'm a seasoned PC tech.
The way we do it at the repair shop is...
Assuming the laptop really is shot (won't even turn on.):
We carefully disassemble the laptop just good enough to get to the hard disc drive. Remove it. Then we either put it into one of our partially disassambled "test" laptops, or add the hard drive to a desktop as a second drive (yes, you can add a laptop drive to a desktop -- there are IDE adapters out there for about $15.) When you've got it into a different (working) machine then simply transfer your data via network, CD-R, cable-connect, flash drive, or floppy.

never did it with a laptop, but hook your hard drive up to another computer and transfer the files, then burn them to a disk

How "broken" is it? Does it boot into Windows at all? Please provide more details. Click the little plus symbol button and then click Add Details.
