We all 'evolved' from a rock/soup. It's amazing how so many lost souls can believe this rubbish instead of a common Creator.
Common sense isn't nearly as common as it used to be.
Brother Hovind speaks so many truths that evolutionists, when presented with it,, they turn their collective backs to it. Why is it that he has won all those debates? My favorite one is where he succesfully debated 3 evolutionists from berkeley.
I predict the next post in here will be someone spewing about his tax evasion or his 'bogus' Phd. You know what? Satan LOVES to discredit every man or woman of Christ so as to DECEIVE people. He IS the king of deceit after all.

Darwin had a theory of superiority/inferiority? Really? I've read The Origin cover to cover and didn't read anything of this!
To paraphrase what Darwin did say in his groundbreaking document - is that at any given time and place - the organisms living there are the best adapted to live in their local environment compared to what came before. Those members in the population that show a beneficial trait - live on to pass that trait to their offspring. Traits or adaptations however can be selected for or against by changes in the environment. These same traits thus may help a population of organisms either thrive or die in a new environment.
The key to Darwin's theory is Natural Selection. NATURE guides what traits are passed on to the next generation and upheld through the eons, NOT the organisms themselves. Giraffe's did not consciously decide to grow longer necks - it just happened over time. And Evolution is not a goal orientated process to create a superior being. Traits that prove superior in one environment - say a thin coat of fur in a warm environment - will doom the same animal in a significantly colder climate.
By contrast discrimination, all the way up to atrocities like Hitler's attempted extermination of the Jewish people during WWII - are internal to humanity, NOT dictated by natural selection, and therefore NOT related to Darwinism in any way. Darwin did not apply the term race in the same context that we use it today. At best Darwin's theory has been perverted to suit the needs of those who do discriminate and/or murder - something which Darwin would be rolling in his grave over.
Your Dr. does state one thing that is correct. There is a war going on! But it is a war of miss-information. Creationists try to make their own ideas (note ideas - NOT scientific theory) look more appealing by demonizing what they stand against. As a biologist myself, I say read the original texts of Darwin carefully, look at many of the studies being done on both sides. I think you'll find much of the "evidence" creationists claim to have, is based on bad science or is outright false.

No.
Origin of species wasn't published til 1859.
If it was the source of discrimination why was there discrimination before? African slave trade, British class system, Hindu caste system etc.
Human nature anyone?
Kent Hovind is not a doctor. His degrees were bought from a degree mill school called Patriot University in Colorado. A school which is only accredited by American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions, an accreditation mill that provides accreditation for a $100 charge.
His claims to having the credentials to discuss the matter authoritatively are bogus, he is a liar. He is now in prison for tax evasion, that is, lying to the IRS. I'm sure he's blaming Darwin for all the big black dick that's finding its way up his @ss right about now.

Uhm ... no. That's like asking if listening to Wagner is the root of fascism because Hilter liked Wagner.
And what is this "superior/inferior theory of Darwin"? There is no such thing. The videos you are watching are giving you *bad* information. What Darwin said was that advantageous traits propagate more then disadvantageous traits ... that's all. Do you think that this leads to some justification that some people are "superior" or "inferior" to others? Only to someone who is already a racist or an idiot.
Look, Darwinism is a theory about biological origins. No more. Just because life seems to work that way says nothing about how human beings should treat each other. No scientist in the world makes that ridiculous leap.
Darwinism may even explain *why* we discriminate ... because giving preference to those we can identify as genetically closer had some survival advantage for the genes of some long-lost primate ancestor. But that's like blaming physicists for the gravity that brought the World Trade Center down on 9/11.
And, sorry ... Kent Hovind is your "Ph.D. in Education"?! You might want to do some research into that guy before you hitch your horse to that wagon. He has a Ph.D from an unacredited university in "Christian education", a notorious young-earth creationist (notorious for underhanded tactics and truly *bad* science). Not exactly an unbiased, or even educated source from which to get information about Darwinism. (I'll leave his tax fraud conviction aside for now.)
Even other creationists (like answersingenesis.com) have tried to distance themselves from Kent Hovind because they find both his arguments and tactics embarassing.
But don't take my word for it. Notice how the video opens with tales of various unrelated schoolyard shootings by seriously disturbed teens, and because one of the Columbine kids had a T-shirt that said "Natural Selection", this is enough to imply that all schoolyard shootings are a direct result in belief in evolution.
That is the typical level of tactics and reasoning you get to expect when you read or watch Kent Hovind.
By all means, people should watch the video.
P.S. In support of 'elchistoso's excellent answer below ... on the video Hovind clearly identifies himself as having a "PhD. in Education" ... not "Christian Education" (as he is required by Fla. law to disclose) ... is that for shame of the word "Christian", or for purpose of deceit? Or did he just "forget" what his PhD was in?
Hovind claims to be persecuted by threatened 'evolutionists' (including the IRS?). But he is no threat to evolution. None. Really, the reason I and many other people dislike him because every sentence he utters, every paragraph he writes, his entire identity, is easily shown to be rooted in deliberate deceit.

No. Discrimination is as old as man. The Good Samaritan was of a race looked down upon by the Jews of Christ's age. This is just dishonest scapegoating of Darwin. It's a typical Creationist lie.

No, God-centred religion and sheer stupidity in the part of certain people who follow these(much like extremists) are more than enough to account for discrimination.
You can't falsify Darwinism since it is a completely plausible explanation, if you try to do this from a moral standpoint or indeed a religious one...well I sympathise with how utterly STUPID your plight would be. Religion on the other hand gives us no proof, they merely tell you to make a, and I stress, UNEDUCATED leap of faith. Only fools and oppurtunists would choose not to be atheists.

No, the root of discrimination is prejudgement. It's a natural survival tool embedded within human nature and most animals. Think about it, that's why you have to socialize your pets. If someone that is angry comes into your house and starts yelling, your dog sees it, the next time someone comes in wearing similar clothing, your dog barks at them.
That's what we need to do, better socialize the "pets" of discrimination.
It's prejudging others that causes the problem of discrimination, because the prejudgments of people is what trickles down into other forms of discrimination, if you allow yourself to think a certain way, it only gets worse.
Darwinism probably infact was realized because of the after effects of this.
Why is this in biology?

I watched the video. I think that Kent uses scare tactics to discredit Evolutionary Theory. Now, I challenge you to read the following from Wikipedia, the free, online encyclopedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evidence_of_evolution
Since Wikipedia is compiled by many people and edited for bias, the general discussion on evolution is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution
which is also worth reading
I believe in God, and am an active Roman Catholic and retired NASA scientist. I think the danger of Creationism is that folks who agree with it are, in effect, trying to act like God; that is, trying to limit how God brought our lives into existance. I do not think that there is any fundamental conflict between Evolutionary Theory and belief in God. God, obviously, can do anything He wants.
Thanks for your viewpoint and the video link.

there is something called social darwinism. This was used in the industrial revolution to justify bad conditions. Some factory owners did not improve conditions in their factories because they thought that the work force would be made better if the workers that got maimed or died were not able to reproduce to form other less fit workers. This was not widespread and often illegal

religion and ignorance are the root of discrimination. The two of which are also linked.
The controversy about evolution vs creationism is how the hell does anyone consider creationism a theory.
