I get this error "generic host windows system32" very often and I have to restart my computer to use it again. Strangely this happens only when I connect to my PPoE broadband connection.. and if i dont connect to the internet or use dial up this never happens.. please help me out!! Im tired of restarting my comp-- iy happens as frequently as 20 mins of using the net

You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

Also, you should try to get your anti-virus program to run a full scan.

check for viruses. reinstall any software related to your broadband connection. the best way to go about it is to format and install linux instead.

its funny we paid a company once to come in and fix that and they came in and looked it up on goggle.
