I thing its natural to be envious... not jealous, when a friend gets lucky. Since that person is your best friend, and I assume that your are theirs as well, it would seem reasonable to expect that small portion would be either given to you or spent on you.
If I win the lottery, I would certainly share it with my friends and family. It would also depend on the amount that is won. If this person is your best friend, you may wait and let them make the first move to share it. If they don't, give it a reasonable amount of time, then voice your feelings. But if you two have been BFFs for a while, don't let money spoil it. Even best friends can be thoughtless now and then.

If my best friend won the lottery I would be happy for him and I wouldn't have any expectations of him as far as the money is concerned. Would I be jealous....a little, but I think I'd really be happy for him more!

If my best friend won the lottery I would not be jealous, I would be happy for her and her family. She has been through a lot and deserves something good to happen to her. I want her to be happy and no I would not expect her to give me anything.

In all fairness if I am that important as a best friend he should give me 1/2 of his winnings. That would prove his loyalty and we would be equals therefore eliminating any jealousy. He would also save on taxes by only having to play on his half. But if I win, I keep it all so I can be superior. I am a good Christian & pray for winning the lottery every night at my bedside. There is a definite place for me in heaven with 23 virgins. Amen.

I would be happy for him, it would be a great thing my friends and family win money they deserve the best. But of course I would expect him to break me off a couple grand if it was powerball I'm his best friend. But if it was just a million I wouldn't expect anything but a dinner and maybe a small gift cause take out taxes and stuff it leaves him with not even half a mil

Frankly speaking i in no way get jealousy whilst my pal wins a a million,00,000's or a million $ lottery. yet ofcourse i visit connect him in occasion and enjoy alongside with him because of the fact a chum is someone who's like your shadow after your dad and mom and that i strongly assure that if particularly wins the type of enormous lottery i visit definitely have not any words to congratulate and want him. and that i think that pal is definitely surprising person in the worldwide with whom you an proportion all you emotions which you would be able to no longer communicate at your dad and mom.

Yes and yes, but be happy for your friend. You would like your friend to make you feel good if you won, right? Even if it kills you inside, be the big person. If your friend does not treat you a bit than he/she is a very selfish person and with this you would have found a trait in your friend that is not so great. No one is perfect though..

if my best friend won the lottery, good for him. i wouldnt expect anything out of it because im not the one who paid money to win the lottery, and it would be his choice on what he would do woth it, and if its your best friend, you probably will get something out of it.
