a= -100
b= 200
c= 200

If a+b=100 then how can (a+b)/2 also = 100. From your question obviously b=c. But even if b (and c) = 0 then this still doesn't work. I think the question you've posed is wrong. Talk to you teacher about this.

Impossible because you state a+b=100 and a+b =50
.

The guy above is right. You've misquoted the question and you've also capitalised some of the variables, which would indicate a and A are different.
You need to be neater missey.
