What your really asking is;

Does the US have the right to govern the REST of the world?

Technically, the US goverment is involved in more things around the world then the US itself.

Which shouldn't be happening. The US Goverment (Bush) shouldn't be involved in Iraq, Middle East, United Kingdom, Ect.

You don't see Japan sending millions of men to Iraq.

Any more involvment and World War 3 is just right around the corner.

The U.S. stands for democracy. Do you want tyrants for leader
of your country or for someone you voted for.or to put it plainly,
do you want to live your life as an ant or as a bird ? In my
honest opinion I think the US have more right to govern the
world than any other nations and I would add that at least 90%
of the world's population would be envious of the american way
of life.

I think this era will go down as the "crusader" era. We're allways on a movement to help other people but in the end it just ends up biting us in the ***.

In reply to wacko theo below:

AS USUAL.... everyone forgets that most aid from the US comes from religious, charitable and private donations, not the government. When you include all aid, including indirect aid (we spend millions on our military to help distribute aid from other countries - which is NOT included in these figures), the US is the MOST GENEROUS NATION IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

As much as they think they do, the US doesn't haven't any right to govern the world. Maybe if it was a perfect nation, then yes. However, a nation led by a president with a low IQ, a nation that uses guns, a nation with a big obesity problem, etc, wouldn't be the best candidate in the world.

It doesn't govern the World; it may act as the Global Policeman but that's because of its dominant economic position.

I wonder if people will be so critical of the US when China are the largest economy and take on that Policeman role.

Absolutely not but America does have the moral responsibility to help those who are oppressed and lack basic human Rights. The Islamofascist in control of Iran need to be taken out, 'supreme leader" Khamenei has declared himself leader for life, is this what Iranians want? I think not. This guy is just another religious bigot hellbent on dominating the region with nukes."who does not bother for USA"? Hey Borat! Iranians are just asking for a fight.
