Because we like freedom. We do not wish to be forced to convert to the Muslim religion or die. Make no mistake about it, that is indeed the goal of the Muslims. They will succeed if not opposed. Is that what you wish?

Liberals want everyone to depend on them and therefore do everything in their power to kieep the poor people poor and dependent on handouts from ther protectors, the Democrats. Conservatives wish to help each person attain his full potential and support themself. They could also help support others in need. Democrats/Liberals want larger and larger Government which is unecessary and is almost always wasteful and often exceedinly corrupt. Conservatives would like to reduce the size of the Federal government and leave more decisions to the States.

I could never accept Liberalism or Muslimism.

For most of you who answered this question, It was undeniable that Conservatives were able to #1 redefine the term, #2 vilify by associating anyone, who disagreed with their agenda or strategies, as liberal. Sometimes adding other descriptive attack words like "weak" "biased" or "unpatriotic".
As for Islam, both Dems and Reps have to be blamed for the way Islamists have become obvious and easy scapegoats for political and militaristic vengence. one out of five hate crimes now reported to law inforcement is against some person who either is, or is believed to be muslim. Might there be a connection between this and the fact that they might want to try to fight fire with fire?
