The Mayan calender ends in this year . The Mayan calender is consider the most accurate device for predicting future events from ancient times. It has the location of stars exactly pinpointed to almost the exact degree of location as we know today . It has predicted many future events that have come to pass . It has always been accurate in the prediction of earthly calender events . Weather , length of days , months , years , basically anything with the future events on earth predicted. Throughout the centuries the Mayan calender has been correct in its` predictions of the time frames of things happening on earth . It has always been reliable for daily , yearly , and even centuries of predictions or forecast for events year in and year out . However; in the year 2012 the Mayan calender suddenly stops , there are no futher events , it just ends . Since the Mayan calender has been so accurate and dependable for many , many centuries , then the belief is that the world is coming to an end !!

according to a lot of prophecies from all over the World approx 2013 is when a new age starts. Which means 2012 is when the old age ends. What these ages means is a dramatic event that will change everything. Not like computers, machine age, or anything like that. But like going from the ice age to this age. Now one prediction would make people go oh we've heard that before. However we are talking about many predictions; some even from very creditable sources; Nostradamous, the Mayans, to name a couple.
Now this could mean many things, however one thing is for certain a major event will happen around that time. If you believe in predictions.

Mayans predicted it to be the end of the world (Dec. 18, 2002 or something like that). Scientist have also shown that we will be passed by an asteroid and our magnetic poles will shift around the same time. Pretty interesting stuff. Look it up.

That is the year that in which December 31st is known as Mayan Doomsday. The Mayan calendar ends with this year. Personally, I like to think that that is because they just got bored making the calendar, but, believe what you will.

They Mayan calender gives this date as the end of the world. Its been predicted a million times before and we're still here. I'm not worried about it.

Im not sure, but if I'm not mistaken, I read in a book somewhere that in 2012, Armaeddon will happen.
