200+300=500 cards
$1000.00 / 500 = $2.00 a piece

x represents how much the each box of cards cost.

200x plus 300x= 1000

500x=1000
x=1000 divided by 500
x=2.
each box shud be $2 each. (or ticket prices shud be $2 each. then u shud add some more cuz u mite sell them all.)
