If they were over the age of 15+. I personally don't know anyone who does...but lets say hypothetically they did. Would you tell them the truth or just let them keep believing?

Unless they had some kind of medical or mental condition I would tell them. But not like my father. The year my mother died my father just bluttered out that Santa does not excise's. I was crushed. I was seven. I would tell them the really story of Santa and that we celebrate his life by passing on gifts.

I still like to believe that people can be nice and get along. I dont need for someone to tell me the truth that there is no such thing because in the back of my mind I already know that but it doesnt hurt to believe that just maybe , just maybe there really can be a time that people will get along and be nice.
If someone is happy believing in something and not harming anyone by what they believe why should anyone have the right to spoil it. This world sucks and there is so much evil all around us what is the harm if someone wants to believe that just maybe there really could be a fat jolly old man who lives at the north pole making christmas presents for all the good boys and girls? It would have to be a kid with alot of problems mentally to be over the age of 10 and still believe since by then they have developed some common sence and should of realized that going christmas shopping and wrapping presents cancels out santas job. You also mention that would anyone tell this person the truth, but what is the truth? The person believing in santa is believing that santa delivers the presents and presents are delivered. Which makes everyone a santa since they are delivering presents. The way I see it is for it to be true that there is no santa would mean that there were no more presents.

If you wanted them to know the truth go ahead, but people always feel hapy when there's somthing to believe in. Santa was also used to make children be good throughout the year. It's also used to give children living in poverty hope that there's someone out there to help them. If you have a problem with my answer please tell me.
Hope you understanmd ^_^

Not only would I tell them that there is indeed a Saint Nic, but I'd fully promote the 'elf peeking in the window' idea as well.
The Easter Bunny is kinda realistic too when you really think about it.

There is NO Santa?? :">( Everyone must have hope. I'm sure there ARE people who believe. We tend not to believe what we can't see or explain. You can't see LOVE, but you still believe in it don't you???
