I'm not so sure about Pat. But I'm 100% sure Jesse Jackson is not a bad guy.

He fights & talks for the minority and the oppreseed who are too busy working dead end jobs and raising families and don't have it as good as he does.

At least he thinks about something other than the white man.

Connor g says it succinctly. They don't belong there. As forJackson
he has my contempt because he is not a leader. He is a status-quoer. As long as blacks are underdogs, he has a job. So people of that ilk drum up contention that we don't need. See: Tawana Brawley. As for Pat Robertson, he has my contempt because he went to a really good school, yet still professes medieval constructs. I am no longer willing to tolerate the old saw about how faith and reason are separate. If you must have faith in something have a reasoned faith. Unfortunately this will leave out a lot of religion.

Thomas Becket, Cardinal Wolsey, Thomas Cramner, and MLK are excellent examples in history where politics met religion. In all cases, trying to serve two masters proved to be their demise. In all cases, they died with by the hands of the politicians when they disagreed with the latest political policies.

Religion and politics don't mix. It's a proven fact. When they do mix, the religious are merely minions of the political powers. Playing both is a dangerous game.

Pat Robertson is a backer of the Religious Right behind George Walker Bush. With some of the statements that this idiot has said in the past I do not know how he claims to be religious. Said 9 / 11 happened because of the moral decay of America. What an ******* to say something that stupid and ridiculous.
Another idiot is his budy Gerry Falwell another loose canon with big mouth that expounds nothing but garbage.
I wonder who their maker will be at death, I bet you the Devil is their Maker.

Reverends should stay out of politics. Religion shouldn't have a role in politics.

Good in politics? Sounds like a paradox there.

MLK was thrust into the lime light and was killed because he commanded more respect and admiration from the people then all others at the time.

Robertson, Jackson, wanted the lime light and set out to be great. A completely unchristianlike purpose to be sure.

And exactly why is Jesse Jackson a bad guy?

This middle class white guy never heard him say anything I disagreed with, Except for Terry Schiavo.

No, there are none. Did you know that you can become a "Reverend" on the Internet for $3? Makes me think that Jessie Jackson got his title there.

IN my opinion any reverend, pope, pastor, priest that is in politics has a hidden agenda, and could very well be the next anti-christ. But, thats just my opinion
