We all know people like that, who like to argue and disagree, and yes, it can be very annoying.
Just don't reply when someone disagrees with you.
It's not an easy thing to do, but you can do it.
I have learned to nod my head and smile, sometimes laugh if the comments are outrageous. And if the person keeps it up and continues to badger, just excuse yourself and walk away.
I just think it's a waste of time to argue with people.
Remember, no one ever wins an argument!

People like that are very annoying and you should try and limit the time you spend talking to them. I have a friend just like that and I want to prove her wrong all the time, but I don't.Usually what I do is try to change the subject when the discussion is getting overheated, or just let them finish what they have to say, even though you know they are wrong, and continue talking about something else. Nothing is really that important to start an argument. Sometimes it is very difficult with my friend, because I can be in a mood where I just don't want her to be right, and I will argue my point. Then at the end of the conversation I am angry and I don't even want to talk to her anymore. So I have learned to just block her out. lol. Hope that was a little help. :)

Ugh, I know the type, and I understand your problem.
There are several ways to move past their pointless babble, depending on the individual.
Personally, I try to change the subject most of the time, because there are some people who just 'have to be right' no matter what, and if you stand there and argue with them, they are sucking you into a negative conversation that will probably just leave you feeling bad about it.
If they just keep going on about it, you can always snuff it by saying "Why don't we agree to disagree?" and let them know you still have your own opinion.
Last resort, avoid them as much as possible, they are the type that usually just bring a person down....don't let them steal your cool.
Good Luck...

Avoiding them is not the answer. In life, there will be people who are "toxic" like co-workers. Avoiding the negative won't teach you how to deal with it. Limit the time you spent around them. What topics are in disagreement? You may be expecting them to disagree with you thus giving them the power to make you upset.

Many many times, when someone disagree, they will try their best to prove a point. Some have to do it until they are agreed. Yes, it is annoying, but to avioid it, you just have to ignore it.

Just listen to them with calm heart and do not get agitated, offer cool drinks to them, and say, OK you are right and we will discuss it together, no problem, you are right and I may be right also, be patient, we are one, no problem, we are best friends, But if you believe me, arguments are self created and cannot t be resolved

You devalue their opinion by pointing out that they're just arguing for the fun of it....and then you blow em off.
