I have a pair of M3 style mirrors and want to change them over, not electric.

Remove the panels from inside the doors, unhook the wiring from inside the doors and remove the nuts holding the mirrors on. You'll need a door pad tool and some screwdrivers to get this project done. Take your time and it should go well.

On the inside of the door you will see a panel directly behind the mirros. This has to be levered off gently taking care not to damage them. When the panel is removed you see some screws, disconnect the electric plug(if electrically operated),and remove the screws, and the mirror comes away from the door.I cannot see another mirror fitting or replacing, other than from a mk.4 astra.
