Well, besides Santa and Rudolph, there is Jesus, who is important for the religious side of the holiday, which is what the holiday is originally about. There is also Frosty The Snowman, because he was in the famous Christmas Carol, and how can forget about him lol? There are also some television mascots like the onces from Nickelodean and South Park and Family Guy and such. But those are more for Comedy. There is also Baby New Year, which was in the Christmas movie because Rudolph rescued him. So over all there are lot's of mascots for Christmas and the holiday season and they all have their own meaning. I hope this answers your question, and be sure to have a Merry Christmas Charlie!

The word "Christmas" spells it out.

Santa's been around awhile, but the figure we know as Santa came about as the result of a Campaign by Coca-Cola in the early-mid 1900's.

But Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus. What better mascot do you need?

Another mascot besides Santa Clause would be an elf. Not Will Ferrel.

I hope your spiritual search goes deeper than christmas and your tree, otherwise just turn on the cartoon network and pick one. Jesus was here way before christmas, just look in your bible.
