No. Let me explain:

It's a beautiful name. But trust me, my first name is Chardon, and while it's beautiful, I have caught **** for it my whole life. Kids are cruel, and if you give them any excuse it just makes it harder on your kid.

I wanted to name my daughter Luna (moon in Italian, and also my great aunt's first name) but I knew she would get picked on for it. So I decided to use it as a middle name, and her first name is Stella (star in Italian). They sound good together, and she can always chose to use Luna some day. However, since her first name is Stella nobody's going to pick on her for it.

I have spent a lifetime spelling my name for people, dealing with CONSTANT mispronunciations, and jokes. If you name your daughter Marie Azah, that would be pretty and you wouldn't have to worry about her being picked on.

For the record, I do think it's a beautiful name. I'm just speaking from personal experience, and while I love my name I felt like "A Boy Named Sue" a lot through my life.

Congratulations! You're in for a treat!

I would go with names that can be pronounced. Unfortunately children can be very cruel...and they might poke fun of the child. This would give the child a very low self esteem. I am all for unusal names...all three of my children have unusal names. My daughter's name...for instance is Avani...and everyone who hears that names says..."that's pretty". I would stay away from these names.

to me.. and let me remind you that you dont know me.. or who i am.. but i would say listen to your heart and name them what you will.. my daughter has 3 names.. 2 american and one arabic name.. her arabic name was hard for people to swallow.. Ayah.. i think it is beautiful.. so if you want to name them whatever you want it is your choice.. for later purposes.. think of how they will be treated in school.. etc.. i personally think it is fine.. they are cute.. however i like the MeAzah and you can lovingly call her mimi.. its cute.. go with it.. not trying to give you a crappy answer.. trying to be honest..

Definately not "MyAzah". Would you really do this to a child?
