Wrong....... your life is just beginning! All that stuff you just finished experiencing, just a trial run to test the waters. Now the living begins. If you enjoyed the things you've tried, perfect them. If you dislike any experiences and don't feel you can improve them, leave them out of your life. Try experiencing Harmony, Kindness and Grace. Become a Great Person that will be remembered.

You sound sad sweetie :(
At 32, you aint even at your prime yet and you have plenty of 'oomph' left in you. You just have to get off the PC and go and find some of these things!!
You would be surprised at how many people still don't know what they want to do with their lives at 40. We all seem to just plod along at a certain pace because everyone else seems to do the same. It is fulfilling for some but not for others so it is up to you to change what you are doing.
Find a local club or something where there are people of a similar age to you and take an example from them.
Life if for living, no matter what your age. We only get one chance so make the most of it!!

No. I'm fifty and some of the best parts didn't come along until I was past that age, like my son being born, or my grandchildren.
I also didn't get published until last year. I am still learning. The older I get the dumber I realize I was before. You are just starting out. I've also had those things after your age.
It just depends, too, on what you want out of life. If you are shallow you can't expect much. My advice is to get out and meet people, read more. Travel a little. You are too young to be giving up on life already. Just don't sit around and feel sorry for yourself.

I can identify with what you say. It's wrong! Make the most of every day. Life is progressive, think about the world as a whole, and you'll see that you've got more going on than 99% of the people out here. Yes, compared to 10, 15 year old people- you (& I) would be considered old- But to those in their 60's & 70's we are just kids! Sounds like a bout of depression more than philosophy.

Hey man, I'm 37 and have a lot of problems in my life, but I can still lift my mood just by playing my favorite rock group.
The difference is that you now know what makes you happy, which you probably did not know 15 years ago. That is your advantage. And forget about 18 year old blonds, 30 year old brunettes are more fun.
Or you can declare yourself as an lost depressing character. Pack a bag and go hitch-hiking.

Not even close - although a lot can be said for your viewpoint impacting your reality.
I have been on several dive trips with people in their 70's. And I know for a fact that several of my family members continue to maintain healthy physical realtions into their '90's (but that may just be good fortune basde on genetics).
And I recently saw an article that said that people in their 70's enjoy life more because they don't have so much future to worry about so they can truly focus on maximizing their short term happiness.

GEEZ MAN!!!
You're still a pup! I just turned 42 and I'm loving life. I am more active, more in tune with what's around me because I'm not as self centered as I was at 32, and I could probably kick my own butt at 25.
There is nothing you can't do at that age that you did 5 years ago.
It helps that my wife is 33. That keeps me young, too.

NO WAY. But if you maintain that attidude then it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm less than two weeks away from turning 50 and am certain my best years are ahead of me.
In the words of Andy Dufresne: ``Get busy living, or get busy dying.''
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
p/s What is that SCUBA gear in your avatar? Think Jacques Cousteau. What age did he retire from diving? Or did he ever?

I am 69 years old and it seems to me i am just beginning to really appreciate life and am excited about the things I wish to do. The only time we "LIVE, is NOW", the past is gone, deal with it NOW for we should not look back, the future is not here. Live and Do NOW for this Now is the Building blocks of the future. Actions in thought, word and deed, done NOW are the creative cause of your life circumstances and destiny. DO IT NOW. Dedicate all you do to the service of God and all that he Created.

NO WAY, threre's a rumor going aroud that within 40 years humans could be living to 1000. and even if it's not going to happen you still have pretty much a garunteed 40 years anyway unless you get killed suddenly. your not even over the hill so enjoy anything that might come. the universe is a srange, and powerful place. take whatever comes your way, grab it by the hair on it's neck and ride it untill you fall off and when it's over say "Damn that was fun!"
