Hello, I am 17 years old but I'll be 18 when i decided to apply through UCAS to enter to some university. I am a bit confused with those words " university " and " college ". And I've read that only people under 18 go to college ...is that right?. I wish i would like to know more about how Uk's education system works.

You simply won't have any problem enrolling to any UK college or University. Age is not a problem. Lot of the people thats older than you are studying in Colleges and universities...so Don't worry. Good Luck :)))

What is called "college" in the US is called "university" in the UK. So if you want to study at a university to get a degree, 18 is the normal age to do so. You are not too old.

In the UK, "college" is a place where you go to study "A-levels", which are qualifications people in the UK have to get before they go to university. People do this when they are 16-18.
