The problem you run into, is that you also must relocate your clutch lever to either the new hand shift lever or make a foot clutch peddle.

it wasnt called a suicide clutch for nuttin. leave the hand shifters for the cages. if all cages had to shift like we do, maybe that would cut down on the cell phone idiots. it just wouldnt look right on a road king.

Easily done. Lots of parts available through the after market. Think about it. Traffic isn't as slow and laid back anymore. I was considering it for a different bike, just wouldn't be right on a Superglide.

Contact Harley Davidson for information, parts availability, technical advise, etc. Check too, if doing this would de-value the bike.

I would recommend to leave as is for reasons already stated. Save your money on the conversion and buy more chrome.

Call Jesse James, he can tell you the best way todo it. He made his personal bike a hand shifter, so no one would ask to ride it.
