Probably not too deep, but maybe you were very dry and you had a tampon that was too high in absorbency. It helps if you wait a couple of minutes before putting in another one, and use the lowest absorbency that will work for your flow.

OUCHYYYYYYYYYY !,yes hun you could have got that too deep,or you may have lefted in it too long. A tampon is NOT suppose to be left in NO longer than 6-8 hours...mine..i leave in NO longer than 4 hours at time.Which also it just depends on how heavy you are at that time of the month.I hope this will help you out in the long run.
You have a great Christmas and take care of yourself.

A) Stop using tampons when you are only spotting.

B) Don't listen to the person who said it wasn't ready to come out and just leave it there!! That is the most dangerous advice I have ever heard!!!!!!! Are you trying to kill the kid??

C) Just keep using pads for now, you can try using tampons again after you have had your period for a year or more.

Hey. The reason it prolly hurt was because you didnt leave it in for long enough. If you pll out a tampon and it is mostly white (not alot of blood), than you are going to be off your peroid soon, or are not leaving it in long enough. Usuaslly when there is ALOT of blood, it just glides out. Hope I have helped you. Have a glamorous day!!

No, you can not put a tampon to deep. Just be gentle and relax when you pull it out.

It usually hurts when you are not bleeding much. So, put some mineral oil on the tampon before you insert it.

Maybe it wasnt soaked enough. Make sure you're leaving it in long enough to soak up enough blood, but not too long. Make sure you don't leave it in for more then 4-6 hours. Not being soaked enough could make it painful. Make sure you relax as you're taking it out. :)
