Maybe u can't play CD/R or CD/R-W cd's in those players

If you recorded MP3 music files on the CD's, older CD players may not play them. You have to make sure your player model will play MP3 and if not, you will have to record .wav or other file types compatible with your players.

When u open the newly burned music CDs, do u see MP3 files or do u see CDA files?
Only CDA files are playable to older cd players.

If they are not MP3's, but are in the proper CD format, then try different brands of media.
Some are more reflective than others and will work better.

some stereo's will not play cdr's this may be the case for you
