I did my first DIY Grizzly kit earlier this year- I'm looking at either a Martin or Stewart MacDonald Dreadnought or 000-but does anybody make a DIY kit for a 12-string?

As of this second nobody that I know of makes a 12 string kit.

Be well advised that the Grizzly kit was practically a bolt together unit and a Stewmac kit will take you many hours in just making the tools they suggest, not to mention actually building the guitar...challenging but rewarding.

The other option is to look at http://usguitarkits.com . Their kits are a "hybrid" between the Grizzly and the Stewmac and you'll need very few special tools to do the job. They are also great sounding instruments!

Call up a guitar center and ask them if there is such a thing out there.
