This tends to work in a bind when your out of filters-done it many times before,and let me say we are avid coffee drinkers! I learned it from my mom years ago when we were stranded in a motel with bad snowy weather! Smart girl!!! Happy Holidays!

Have done this on many occasion's myself and I don't believe there is no harm in using the paper towel's.

It's ok but wouldn't suggest using paper towels with anything printed on them (ink).

I do it all the time. Never had any problems with it. It's great when you're in a pinch. Drinking my coffee too right now - bottoms up!

Everybody's done that at one time or another, you'll survive... can't guarantee you'll survive the company potluck!
My mortgage ap got delayed because everyone went home sick as a dog on Wednesday because of the company party potluck!
Too sad...

Ha ha I know the feeling. I have had to resort to that myself. The thing is they are so cheap it is just the "Oh, I need this and that" and you get home and lo and behold your w/o them. Have a great holiday. Drink tea!
