I live in Ohio and we had those temps. yesterday. Yes, it is strange, but they just said on the news that we will get a winter storm on christmas day. Not a bad one, but up to 3 inches. Maybe mother nature is fooling us and January and feb. will be horrible.I hope not. Merry Christmas!!

The Earth is globally getting warmer in places, for whatever reason (Green house gases? A normal 100000 years long weather cycle?). Count you blessings, the people in Denver do not have it easy, with two feet of snow in one day.
But, if it keep getting warmer, the ice caps will mets, and NY will be flodded by rising sea level. Be ready to pack up and leave.

Mother nature will take care of it's own. It seems that stone age thinking would like to return to the ice age.
