I prefer Obama by far. While he is young as politicians go and inexperienced, experience doesn't necessarily mean a good president either. One only has to look at our recent history to find examples of so called experienced politicians who made a wreck of their office.

What I like about Obama: he's intelligent and reasoned which would be a fresh breath of air coming after GWB.

You've got to figure that when you elect a president, you're also bringing along everyone whom that president appoints. I am sure that a man of Obama's charisma, leadership and smarts would appoint people who could help him with his inexperience problems.

Hillary Clinton has too much baggage. And she's part of Bill Clinton. We fought a war to get rid of dynasties; let's not elect Hillary or for that matter anyone with the last name of Bush.

At this point it's all speculation as to who will run, who will be elected in the primaries and who the actual candidates will be. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have selected their parties choices. So right now everyone is drawing straws, and proposing various candidates. Both Obama and Clinton are considering this, but until we get to the summer of 2008, it's simply going to be so much hot air.

You must have that movie about Kazakhstan on your mind. It's Barack Obama. That's a good way of spelling Republican. They were a bubble, and that bubble burst on November 7.

I'd pick Barack Obama because he is new and would give our country a fresh start. Hillary has been around too much, and she has supported various aspects of the war in Iraq.

The Democrats are going to win in 2008. This is because I expect the Republicans to have six keys (in Allan Lichtman's 13-key system) against them, enough to lose. Specifically, I think the mandate (1), incumbency (3), policy (7), charisma (12), and both foreign policy (10,11) keys will be against them.

Obama, in a second. Hillary supported both the war (and still appears to!) and the Patriot Act. She did a poor job on health care when Bill gave her the chance, suggesting a plan that would only benefit the health insurance industry. Let's give the new guy a chance!

Neither one. I personally would like the Clinton's to get out of politics altogether. And Barak Obama seems to be being looked at because he is a young black man,,,,poor excuse to be made president if you ask me! I think if these are the choices the Dems come up with then the Republicans will end up winning.

Clinton. She's been around a longer time and with more experience in national politics. Obama is going to crack under media scrutiny and doesn't have that much experience in politics. He is all hype and I think that by 2007 or early 2008 nobody is going to remember his name. Clinton is a serious candidate not all hype.
