I've always tweezed my eyebrows but they really need to be properly shaped by a professional. The salon near me does waxing and stringing. Which do you recommend? And how long should I not tweeze before making an appointment?

my friend swears by stringing/threading because it finishes so clean and perfect versus waxing which tears a thin layer of skin off with it, ouch!

I would say like a week and there are pro and cons about them both it takes a while for them to string so u will lay there but it does not hurt, but with the waxing it is fast and your eye area will be a lil red and it does hurt bit for like a second so if u are in a hurry i say waxing but if you want them done and you r not in a hurry you can go with the stringing or you can go and try them both that way you would know which one like

i'd say stringing or threading is better than waxing. the skin on the face is much more sensitive. stop twezing ur eyebrows like a week before.

I've heard really good things about stringing, but I haven't personally had it done. I have been waxed and it's also fine. A bit red at first, but it goes away.
