well..
parents who love their children will have to accept what they do and love them unconditionally...
At the end of the day, children want support and all parents can be are 'guards'...just to make sure their children are safe and sound...just be their rock and protection.

Merry Xmas!

You know, I've been told my entire life that anything I do reflects upon my family, mostly on my parents. Yet, as I've gotten older and more independent that reflection has dimmed more and more. There is a certain point where a parent is no long able to control their child or advise them. In answer to your question, the general view of a parents' role as far as the actions of their children are concerned...when the kids are still young enough, or still living at home the parents' role is to help them know what is right and wrong and tell them when they do it. Applaud them for doing right, and tell them when they're doing wrong.

Until a child reaches majority, the parents should be held jointly responsible, as far as I am concerned.

unconditional love in Jesus-and tough love too-if they live in your home -you are responsible -if they wont keep your kind rules-what will they do in the unkind world? pray alot and relax-peace in Jesus amazing grace that saved a wretch like me-i rebelled and ended up in a Jewish boys home-but I learned lessons and now I love Jesus totally and got a new beginning Revelatin 3:19&20 works for me! happier than ever too and i am reunited with my mom -who sent me away and then again when I came to Jesus -had a funeral for me-but true love makes a way

I feel it is my role to teach the child how to think for themselves. They are responsable for their actions. It is the journey of their soul.

Parents need to take responsibility for what their kids do and how they behave. There are situations, however, where the child is incorrigible and uncontrollable. It doesn't matter what the parents do, nothing seems to help, they can't figure what they have done or are doing different than with the other kids.. MILITARY SCHOOL!
