I think I would like to have Dr. Watson as a roommate. He would be able to give me pointers about writing mysteries and his knowledge of Sherlock Holmes methods would come in handy as well. It also would have the added benefit of him not having Holmes smoking habits and cocaine addiction around as I have a 15 year old at home.
It also wouldn't hurt to have a medical doctor around. I have had medical problems(cancer and type 2 diabetes)and could use his medical advice on improving my life style for my health. I'm sure he would keep up on the latest medical developments.

me? i guess i would choose ... Chandler from "FRIENDS".
the reason, i believe, is obvious: coz he's hilarious!!! he just seems to have an incessant supply of incredible jokes and sarcastic remarks... and on top of all that, he's also like an eternal teenager. he's so immature and cute about everything. i just LOVE it!!
also, i love the way he's so insecure about everything he does... especially dating. i can only imagine how much fun it would be whenever he wanted date help from his "roomie"...
oh, and one last thing: i also find him soooooooooooo incredibly CUTE!!! i would definitely want to date him after a while...
