Last night I went to bed a little after 11 and I woke up around 7. I always sleep about eight hours! I'm a teenager and lately I've been feeling tired... I used to be able to sleep in til noon. Why can't I anymore?

you have gotten into a sleeping pattern. If you want to sleep in until noon, just don't go to sleep until 4 am. I know from experience that sleeping in is not a good thing.

mt thoughts would be your body has probably gotten use to the routine of awaking earlier in the morning from school and then your mind actually becomes likes a alarm clock and you just wake up. I wake up every morning at 5 a.m. no alarm clock needed been doing it for years I know its frusterating but really your body had learned this behavior and trying to stay up later hoping to chnage it wont help you will wake up at 7 and be even more tired, you have to untrain your body and mind from the pattern to change it best of luck

Could be insomnia. There are certain types of insomnia that make you fall asleep easily enough, but you wake up and then can't get back to sleep. Consult a doctor if your symptoms continue to bother you.

Most people don't get adequate sleep for their
busy schedule. But, sleep deprivation destroys
not only physical health, but also mental health.

I've a similar problem. For years I've gotten up at a certain time, and I find that my body wakes up at this time each morning. It could be that your body is telling you that it has had enough rest, and that it is time to do something.
