I was supposed to hand mine in yesterday for repair but I juist couldnt do it. I could not do without it over Christmas as I have so much going on in my life at the moment and need to be in contact with people.

Ha! If you loved it so much you would mend it yourself!

I love mine to bits, it is never turned off and is constantly in use by either me or a distributed computing application like "Folding @ Home"

But seriously, I understand that you couldn't be without it, especially with the crap they put on TV at Christmas.

Even when I'm not actually using my PC, I leave it running anyway. It's always there and ready if I need information on something. I think I too would have found it hard to part with mine over the holiday period. That's why I have a laptop for backup.

My computer is never down for more than 2 hours (to install and tweak windows)....I but very much blood and sweat into this computer. Even when my video card died...it only took me 3 mins to pop that one out and put another one in....beat that!!!

My computer is NEVER switched off. I blew my motherboard a while back & I was lost for 2 WEEKS before I could get a new motherboard. I was GUTTED!

No, I don't love my computer at all. It's a thing, an inanimate object -- an intelligent "pet rock" if you will. If it blew up today, I'd just go buy a new one. I enjoy it and have a lot of fun with it, but I don't "love" it at all.

Yes, I love my children. All TEN of them. The GAMING box, the DEVELOPMENT box, the CAD box, the 4 SERVER boxes running LINUX and W2000AS, the PLAY laptop, the BUSINESS laptop and the BITTORRENT server.

i just love my computer, and the truth is only i control it and i grew some kind of affectio and love for my pc. if something happens, i can't bear it.
