Not at all. I write from the UK and at one time the UK felt it was the centre of the World. The UK has matured and we can hope the the USA will mature too..........in time. Currently, most poeple have a global view and feel we are best served if we try to all work together and unite.

in medieval times only Europeans thought they were the center of the universe. the Chinese thought they were the center of the universe, as did the Indian, Incas, Ghanaians, etc. now in modern time is the U.S.A. the center of the universe? well no. God is still the center of the universe (whether believe in him or not). America is just the biggest military, political and economical power on this planet. no word yet if there is some one badder on another planet in our universe.

The USA is not the center, just the last standing Super Power.

Is anywhere on Earth really the center of the universe or is some way advanced civilization getting ready to let their offspring torch us like ants under a magnifying glass on a hot summer day?

It was only a few meat heads in the Catholic Church that tired to claim Earth was the center of the universe and everything else rotated around it. They happened to live in Europe.

It may be, by some. IMHO, the US is but a passive particle in the grander scheme of things. In fact, I predict in the future we will be Internationally isolated and irrelevant.
