I just feel like I'm useless and I think negatively all the time. Sometimes I get so angry with myself but i can't seem to break out of this self-destructive cycle. Any advice?

Jobs and Romances Are smilier , you must like what you are doing there , It takes a minute to have a crush an hour to like someone and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone" When a necessary piece of luck comes along at the right time, don't send it out to be analyzed. Looking for the why and how this happened (and how you can make it happen again) will only frustrate you , Think positive and look forward ,OK , easy said , everybody has two brains ,two thoughts , " I will" , I shouldn't " Just do what is right , your in control , you have a choice , the more you choose the easier it gets , forget what you did , think about your next move and don't look back till the end of the day , and if it was wrong , don't do that again , if it was right make it a habit , you can do it , only the way you know how , so here's a new way to think , hope it helps , it has helped me do what ever I want to do , I just do it...

Do everything you can to get your life back on track. Do so much that you're so tired from trying that you don't even have time to feel down or mad at yourself. Trust me, this is something I know a lot about. Eventually through the haze of exhaustion, you'll see that you're actually changing things, that you have control over your own life. Once you see that you can change things, then you will feel better about yourself because someone who can effect their own destiny for the better can't be useless. Good luck.

Life is a constant struggle and many times very unfair. We may find obstacles in life and life thow them at you in every direction but it does not mean that you cannot jump them and get on with life. The worse thing that you think when jumping one is that you're going to find a wall and fall again, the best thing you can do is to get up and try again to jump the next one,it's like an obstacle runner, have ever see one not making it over one and fall,he or she doesn't just get up and goes back to the same obstacle, they just go on to the next one,not even looking back. That's how life obstacles should be.Good luck.

Hold your help up and make a decision to be happy. Give yourself positive self-talk everyday. It will feel crazy at first but it will help. Remind yourself that you and no one else controls your happiness.

Say it with me:

I love me
I am successful
I will achieve my dreams
I am a great __________________
I am Happy
and God Love me.

Say it at least once everyday and whenever you need a pick up. I promise it will help.

I also encourage you to get a copy of the book"

remind yourself that many go threw this, then analyze what happened,,,, where there things you specifically did that lead to your losing your job? if so, learn from that,,,,, and decide to try to correct it on your next job,,,,,, if you dont feel there was something you did,,,,, then just accept it,,,,,,, either way you must accept it and move on,,,,,,,,, no one is defined by their mistakes nor bad /negative things that happen to them,,,,, you are much more then your job!! start looking around for a new job, make plans for what type job you want etc,,, that will take your mind off of what you didnt/couldnt do, and focus it on what you can,,,,, while yes you are suffering,, remind yourself that there are so many in the world in such worse conditions then you,,,,, and that you still have opportunities, that you intend to pursue

Don't dwell on losing a job. Everyone has done it, and you will do it again, so don't be too upset, if you lost it, because of not enough
knowledge, go right out and get some, its not easy, but it can be done. Many doors will open. This is one that has closed, don't despair
when one closes, lots open.

well, it happens to lots of people when lay offs hit, I had the same experience too. I was out of work for 9 months.

You will just have to have faith, and keep praying to God (if you are a believer) and keep trying.

For now, try to find something temporary. The good one will come along soon

take a trip, take some time off. look at your time off as a chance to refresh. don't get back into the rat race until you understand that all the things you stressed about were just trivia.
