After you have a first story built. Go to the bottom left of your screen and click the "Up one level" button. (or use the "page up" button on the keyboard)Then all you have to do is add a floor on top of your first level walls and build away on your second level just like you would if it was on the ground. You'll need to delete a couple of floor tiles to make a hole for some stairs though.Walls can be placed directly on top of the lower level walls if you don't want to put down the floor tiles first.

There is a little control panel on the bottom left of the screen. There is a button there that's split in two. Press the top one to go to the next story. you must have a ground floor built first though or else the option won't be there.

After you've built the walls, in your keyboard, click page up. sometimes you need to fill in the spaces with flooring first befored putting on another wall
