that started helping construction companies to meet OSHA guidelines and keep them updated on changes.

Some of the requirements included:
* MSDS (material safety data sheets) on site for any materials that had special instructions in case of emergency
* regular safety meetings for staff and documentation of these
* required PPE (personal protection equipment, such as gloves, protective glasses or masks, hard hats, safety harnesses, steel-toed boots, etc.) and other safety requirements involving ladders, fire extinguishers, and storage of hazardous materials.
* having regular monthly inspections of the worksite for these requirements, and keeping documentation of these on file
* keeping other documents on file for OSHA requirements
such as written "Safety Programs" and "Hazmat" (Hazardous Materials)
* keeping documentation of the training and certification of licensed workers (such as forklift operators, etc.), and also written procedures to follow in case of emergency

Some of these may be more geared to construction sites. But where I work now, we also have to have regular safety training meetings and inspections, and keep MSDS documents and follow fire procedures as part of OSHA compliance, so I think those requirements are generic to all companies.
