sims 2.. makeing houses... how do you put on the roof... plz give me directions?

Well you go to the roof section which is in build mode. Now you can either use the auto roofs which will place the roof for you or you can go and choose the type of roof you would like to place. If you choose this option all you have to do is start at the corner and click and drag to cover the area you need to. E-mail me for any more help if you need it.
