some of us fat girls only wear hipster trousers at work where we are forced to do so by the uniform policy (the company provides them)
I started wearing my own trousers and got into trouble with the area manager until she saw me in the company provided hipsters. At that point i managed to convince her to provide an allowance to buy my own much more sensible trousers.
In terms of other people - some girls tend to get a slight thickening of the waist when wearing anything that reveals their tummy. Its fat to keep them warm.

Maybe because thats pretty much the only style of trouser out there unless you want to look like your grandmother and wear trousers hitched up to your neck with straight legs strangling your ankles.
Its not so much the "fat girls" fault, if people would design more suitable clothes in bigger sizes that don't make young girls feel like comlete frumps then maybe it wouldn't happen.
It doesn't help that a lot of tops barely meet people's waists so there's more over exposure.
Then again I've seen it happen on thinner girls and its not too attractive then either when you're trying to sit down & have a nice dinner with a bum hanging out in your face.

It's the style. Even some thin girls have bellies that hang out. It comes down to pushing whatever fat they've got into making their butts look shaped - good for the guys.

The answer is *fashion*!
It's not only fat girls, though. Even slimmer girls end up with what is known as "muffins" (the roll that rises over the top of the trousers).
It is not attractive.
I sometimes wonder if these girls have looked at themselves in the mirror before they went out. And if they did, what on earth did they think they saw?
Even worse than that, to my mind, are the boys who wear their trousers so baggy and so far down their hips that they are in danger of losing them. It makes them look like their crotch starts about round their knees. Just how do they think they look cool, when they're constantly having to hitch their pants up? And how could they make a quick getaway with those?
Still, all these people will eventually grow up, and look back in horror at what they wore when they were young! Like we all do!

I do agree they look a sight.They are only trying to be fashionable.It has been difficult recently to obtain anything on the high street cheap and cheerful fashion scene that is not hipster ,or way too short in the body.You will be pleased to know that tops are getting longer.They do however seem to be skintight.All the lumps and bumps will show but at least you won't be subjected to as much bare flab.Its not only young girls .I've seen a few gruesome grannies about too!

Perhaps they're just not self conscious. How freeing. I really admire nerdy people and their fashionlessness. It is so freeing.
However, truth is, I don't want to see boobs, butts, navels, etc. on thin or fat, except perhaps at the ocean in the summer. Its just more information than I want.
It seems sort of self centered and impolite, like talking loudly on your cell phone in a restaurant.

And even worse is the Builder's Bum they display to all and sundry. Last week in a restaurant I was exposed to a full-on BB throughout the entire meal - she seemed to be leaning forward on her forearms for most of the time and the jeans slipped further an further down at the back .... ugh!

dude. they feel they need to be treated as equal, and i mean they should but i believe its nasty, if someone is going to wear something like that then better have a nice shape. see some fat people say that they cant change well they can but they are just to blunt and lazy to understand that so they try to throw this crap at us so they can piss us off. thats the best answer i could give you

They don't know they are fat. Body dysmorphia is not just for anorexics. Some fat people (men too) look in the mirror and see an attractive person who is slightly chubby. Are you going to tell them it isn't so ? I'm not.

I suppose they want to look fashionable and want to wear the same clothes as some skinny girls. Maybe they feel better about themselves wearing skinny jeans an other fashionable clothes like that.
