every time i try to put in a dvd to watch it said there is nothing in there, i tried all dvd's and still no luck please help!

reinstalll your driver

That is either due a problem related to driver or hardware
'HARD'ware i cant help; u 2 try 2 stay away from it

1.In My computer right click-properties
try to search for devices in the device manager
2.try 2 use the hardware cd
3. try running the drive "e" or whatever ur cd drive letter is in run

Have you installed the DVD rom driver? If you don't have one, download it from the manufacturer's website.

If you've already done the above and your DVD still inactive, check your device driver (Ctrl Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > expand IDE controllers then check if your IDE ATA / ATAPI controllers are detected.

Check the cables on the inside of the computer...it is possible one of the IDE Cables is loose or disconnected.
