sometimes even though you understand its hard to remember the stuffs. i also had the problem so what i do is not try to memorize the whole thing,i break them up into sections and then try to memorize. i make a mind map(using various colors) and look through them when i am like in a bus. before sleeping go through in your head what you have learned in the day. write down in a point form what you need to remember and stick them in your study tabel. when you are back home from a lesson go through what your teacher taught that day to get the concept fully in your head. and always clarify with someone who knows when you are confused with something. dont overload your brain... always get a good sleep before the night of exam... i think it will help... good luck.

Every person has different amount of Grey matters in brain and different capacity to memorize. So don't lose confidence, you have increase that level.
Its better for you to learn and then write the answer twice or thrice, as a mock drill. Slowly you will gain confidence and once you have had, everything will be very easy.
One more thing, never keep in mind that you can't keep the lesson long in my mind, that would make you more in-confident.

The best way to pass the examination is to learn, not to memorise. If you try to memorise, you are most certainly boud to forget some or all of them, specially in exam time. But if you give more attention to the subject when you are taught in your school, and try to understand the subject - by revising it immediately afterwards and questioning your teacher about things you don't understand, interacting with friends and teachers about the subject - you will remember all important things in exam. Very few people have extraordinary memory and they do remeber by memorising, for many of us understanding and truely learning is the only answer. And learning would involve theoritcal and practical exercises.
