Going to a fashion school such as FIDM, or Otis, certainly doesn't hurt. However, you can also gain knowledge by reading fashion magazines and books, attending trade shows such as MAGIC, local fashion shows, researching and writing a column for your local newspaper and reading as much as possible online. You might also try interning, or taking a part time job for a local designer in your area.

emerse yourself in fashion magazinez speciually Grazia . if dats wot u meant . if u wanted 2 b an actual fashion expert go and apply as a fashion expert in magazines but you wud need 2 know quite a lot
